Discover the life of Blessed Marie-Leonie Paradis, foundress of her Institute, The Little Sisters of the Holy Family. Upon entering Saint Michael’s Basilica-Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Sherbrooke, you will find on the right, the Centre Marie-Leonie Paradis. Its mission is to make known the life of Blessed Marie-Leonie Paradis, foundress, and the story of her Institute, the Little Sisters of the Holy Family. The museum offers you a “self-guided” tour of the four thematic alcoves that recount the life of Mother Marie-Leonie through objects that belonged to her, photographs and texts. Founded in 1982 by a group of art lovers, the Museum of Fine Arts Sherbrooke is the keynote speaker at the conservation and promoting the visual arts in the Eastern Townships Eastern Townships. Accredited by the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec in March 1990, The Museum of Fine Arts occupies Sherbrooke since 1996, an historic 19 th century, the former headquarters of the Eastern Townships Bank , center -town Sherbrooke. The new building completely restored meets the standards of museum conservation. The Museum of Fine Arts Sherbrooke has been able to establish themselves in the middle and is renowned for its dynamism, professionalism and accessibility.
