Maple Leaf Enterprises Ltd. was established in 1967 by Wm. Bill van Linge. The company originally dealt with high pressure steam installation and pump repair. Gradually however, the focus changed to the water well and drilling service industry. The firm also expanded into larger water well systems and excavation. Bill was joined by his sons Albert, Edward and Gerald in 1975. Maple Leaf was now also involved in soil sampling and monitoring. Various engineering firms enlist their environmental and soil testing skills to assist in locating and recovering hazardous waste materials and recovering hazardous waste materials and remediation systems service and installation. Besides the large volume of business in the domestic service and installation of pump systems, Maple Leaf is involved in the installation and servicing of small sewage treatment plants.
