Welcome to New Leaf Living and Learning Together Inc. is a not-for-profit organization funded by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, and the generous support of community minded individuals and groups. New Leaf provides residential and day supports to adults with a dual diagnosis (intellectual disability accompanied by emotional, psychiatric, or behavioural difficulties) and individuals with other complex needs. New Leaf provides an alternative for those whose challenges may make it difficult to adjust to other residential options.New Leaf is rural and intentionally so. We believe that a rural setting with minimal stress can and does contribute to emotional stability leading to the increased social development of the people we support. New Leaf is not a short term program with ultimate 'graduation' to some other setting. It is a home for as long as the individual desires, or as long as New Leaf can provide the appropriate quality of care.
