We are a full service harness and tack shop located in Wallenstein, Ontario, in the heart of horse and buggy country. We have been in the saddlery and equipment business since 1955. We started out by repairing harnesses for our neighbours and it just grew from there! Today we have a 7000 square foot store to serve our customers in all disciplines and equestrian interests ranging from mini equipment to the heavy Clydes, Belgians and Percherons. We have access to local brass foundries to have any low-volume, sand casted parts duplicated or reproduced, as well as offshore brass and stainless steel foundries where we can have any cast parts custom made.We have access to a plating facility to have any parts re-plated in CHROME, BRASS an well as many other finishes. Get your old hames and or other hardware, even car parts re-plated to a nice new look !We have an in-house machine shop where we can make many steel or stainless items to your specifications, whether it is welding, forming or punching.
Since 1980 Aaron Martin Harness has been manufacturing harnesses for horses and pets, plus many custom made products in other fields in our facility near Wallenstein, Ontario, Canada. What started out as a small business venture has grown into a business that serves the Draft and Driving horse industry worldwide. With a number of years of experience in this trade prior to 1980 and from working with draft and driving horses all our lives, harness and horses are nothing new to us. This experience is a great asset to us and being the manufacturer of our harnesses makes us a strong asset to our customers for service. For example, it is so much easier if there is a size or style problem in the harness, collars, hames, pads, etc. or if you need a harness made to your specifications, be it a special size or design.
