Monique Glover is a birth educator and trained DONA postpartum doula who is passionate about birth, and empowering you in your unique experience!
As a birth educator, she offers a group workshop, Birthing from Love, which concentrates on the psychology of childbirth. Monique is trained in the psychology of love & fear, and coaching women how to explore and release fear surrounding childbirth.
As a postpartum doula, Monique offers one-on-one support to help ease parents through the transition with a new baby. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid and is an advocate for breaking the stigma associated with mental health.
The Nova Scotia Council for the Family was formed in 1967 under the name Nova Scotia Child Welfare Association.Created by a coalition of service providers, government representatives and community leaders, its members were committed to the care and protection of children from abuse and neglect. Their goal was to work together to provide leadership and support to members to enhance their ability to develop and deliver quality services for children and families in Nova Scotia.
