I have tried dozens and dozens of Chinese Places in Victoria area (even in China Town), and abroad. This one, is by far the best I've tried in the last 20 yrs!!
The food is authentic and full of flavour and yet very light (not greasy or heavy). It is DELICIOUS! But what I also like about this restaurant is it is very friendly and clean and tastefully decorated. I had friends that worked there said it is very clean, and the work ethic is known to be very high and they treat their employees very well. Prices are slightly higher than other Chinese places, but good value. Eat in, take out, or delivery available. I have known this restaurant since it first opened 15 years ago and has always been exceptional. This is a hidden gem! Highly recommended!!!

Tried Basilico's new Spring/Summer menu - lots of great appies, lunch and dinner items. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh. My partner had the herb crusted snapper and I tried the grilled pork loin chop and both were fabulous. Understand they have a great Sunday Brunch too.
