Rosie’s pet service has been in continuous operation since 1988. My specialty is cat care. But I am also familiar with: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, birds, and let’s not forget dogs. Along with extended in-home visits for pets, I also offer a taxi service to get pets to their appointments.

I care for all dogs like they are my own because of how much I love them. I have professional training as a dog walker, both in first aid and safety protocols. I trained at Langara college in dog care and I am licensed & certified in pet first aid. I am available weekdays & weekends. With more than 30 years combined in retail service we reached a time for change in our lives in 1999. Knowing how difficult it was for us to find quality care for our dogs while we were working long hours or going on vacation we launched Dash-Hound Pet Services (lovingly named for our angel dachshund Millie). We offer a variety of services to our clients that include, but are not limited to, group dog hikes, overnight boarding, home security visits, and cat visits.

At Jet Pet Olympic Village, dogs are offered a balance of play, human interaction, problem solving, and rest to keep their minds active while allowing them to relax and reset. This includes time for a nap at least once a day (or more if needed) and plenty of opportunity for play and social time in our large indoor facilities.

We do what we do because we love dogs. But with that love we also have a great deal of responsibility in regards to safety, knowledge and attention to detail.
