With goodbyes said, my sister and I proceeded to walk the distance to the house with the dogs in tow. Unbeknownst to us, my beloved Felix was resting under the best mans truck, which was now in reverse gear. The rest, as they say, is history. My best friend and faithful companion of eight years had been taken abruptly from me.
