The cornerstone of this Gothic-style
church, originally the Millbrook Methodist Church, was laid in 1881.
The church opened in 1882 and restored in 2017.
Built by the masons, carpenters and ironworkers of Millbrook, it was heralded as the largest village church between Toronto and Montreal, and was described as
“one of the finest church buildings east of Toronto”.
The church served the local United Church congregation until 2004 and is now exclusively a non-denominational event venue.

The Amazing Rainforest Science & Arts Children's Centre opened its doors on July 2007 to the public and began running programs during the summer. It also hosted birthday parties and it held its first Rainforest Camp during the summer. Over time the Amazing Rainforest Children's Centre has provided science and arts programs to various schools in our community and neighbouring school boards. It has hosted hundreds of parties for children and has provided tutoring and homework help to students needing teacher assistance in English and French. The Amazing Rainforest Science & Arts Children's Centre is proud of its collaborative work with other community charities and groups to raise funds and awareness.
