Local 1003, Kootenays was established in 1947 in Nelson, BC, where our office is located at 101 Baker St. in the Duke Hyslop Labour Center. We represent workers in our region in construction, manufacturing and maintenance, as well as employees of Nelson Hydro, the local Utility.
The Nelson & District Youth Centre provides youth of all ages with a place to hang out, play and meet new friends.
