Goodwill is a community based not for profit organization serving disabled and special needs persons. Goodwill opened their doors in 1949, and since then put in 86,706 hours of service helping the community by providing employment services, clothing donations, and volunteer experience. The Westview Co-op is a newly merged co-operative which is made up of the Eagle Hill and Olds Co-op. The Eagle Hill Co-op was established on April 25, 1933. The Olds Co-op was incorporated on April 29, 1960, and the Carstairs Food store was opened in 1977. As of February 1, 2010, the Co-operative became known as the WESTVIEW CO-OPERATIVE. These co-operatives have been serving these communities for many years and the Westview Co-op will carry on that tradition.
