CARC is a non-profit organization registered in Ontario has federal charitable status, and as such is permitted to provide provide a receipt for donations for income tax purposes.Established in 2006 by Evergreen in partnership with the local community, the Emmett Avenue Community Garden is the only community space for growing food in Eglinton Flats park at the intersection of Jane-Eglinton in Weston-Mount Dennis. The garden grew to 18 members in 2007, 32 in 2008, and in 2009 celebrated its third full growing season.
