The Didsbury Museum, situated in the Town of Didsbury, Alberta, has been established to tell the story of the founding, settlement and development of the community in and surrounding the Town of Didsbury from the late 1800’s to the present.
The Rocky Museum showcases the history of the pioneers who homesteaded in this area, worked in the lumber camps and sawmills, and sent their children to one-room schoolhouses. The Rocky Museum exhibits household effects of the farming families who cooked on wood stoves, rode to town in horse-drawn wagons, and hunted, fished and trapped for their food.
