Despite its low budget title, I had a great week long stay there at the north super 8 location in late July 2017. What made it 4 stars for me was the staff! The General Manager is one of those people who makes you feel pampered and cared for. All the front desk staff were knowledgable and courteous. Even the room attendants and maintenance guru, Tom, were people you could call friends. I felt very welcomed there everyday. Would definitely go back even if I could afford a more expensive hotel!

We had a family gathering in Red Deer so had adjoining rooms for 4 days at this pet-friendly motel. We were coming and going daily to the horse show at the Westerner a few blocks away and everything went so smoothly. Rooms were clean, quiet, friendly staff, coffee on in the lobby all morning, a large grassy area for the dogs right behind the hoteI, little fridge and micro in the rooms, a coin laundry on the main floor to throw in a few things, rates were good, and I have to say the weather was great too which certainly adds to any summer experience! but for us, this motel was tops!

I stayed for couple of nights. Had a business suite, outside looks little rough, but room was great, recently renovated, Easy to access on gasoline alley, Front desk staff is very helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and everything was fresh. Wi-Fi was good enough speed. Overall, a great value for money.
