Highland Packers is a family business that was started by my uncles when they first came over from The Netherlands in 1957. In 2002 my cousin, who was then in charge, added the current store to the facility. In 2005 I became the owner of Highland packers and since then, together with my wife and now also with our 4 children and the whole staff are actively involved to run this business. Highland is a meat processing plant under the inspection of the Ontario government. We bring in the livestock that gets processed into steaks, roasts, burgers, sausages, bacon, hams and more. We have our own sausage kitchen and use natural wood to smoke our products. You can also buy roasting pigs from us to roast yourselves. In our store we focus on selling Canadian meat and local produce. We work closely with local growers. Our store also has a bakery, deli and cafe where we make home-style meals. Please come and visit.
