Sedgewick and District Municipal Library is pleased to serve our local residents and the surrounding community within the town of Sedgewick.We are part of the Parkland Regional Library system and have many services to offer.

Bawlf Public Library is a warm, friendly gathering place, where residents can access a vast array of ideas, knowledge and information, while pursuing lifelong learning, the joy of reading and community spirit.

The first Hughenden Public Library Board was formed in January of 1974, and consisted of five women with a passion for this project. They were Evelyn Anderson, Irene Gilpin, Dorothy Johnson, Ruth Powell and Margaret Wall. The first library collection was
