Seven Community Members and one Council Rep with an Alternative oversee the functioning of our library.All citizens in the RM of Eriksdale are entitled to a membership in the Eriksdale Public Library at no cost.Non residents pay a yearly fee for membership to access all services offered.
Eriksdale is a strong and thriving community, proud of its heritage, honouring it's natural environment and recognized as an Interlake community of choice for people to live, to work, to visit and to do business.
The Library is named after Miss. Pauline Johnson. She was a school teacher who taught in Lundar for many years. She was born in 1895 and immigrated to Lundar from Iceland in 1900. She retired in 1961 after spending her entire working career as a teacher.In 1995, a former student of hers, Don Johnson, made a large monetary donation to start a library in her honor.

In April 1910 the Victoria Beach Investment Company was founded with C. W. N. Kennedy as president and C. Vokes, F.C. N. Kennedy, W. E. Macara and T.D. Robinson as directors. The aims of the company were 'to layout, improve, sell and dispose of its lands for the purposes mainly of a summer resort' and also to enter into any type of business which they thought plausible.
We are proud to say that we are being around for nearly a 100 years. And have a huge variety of books, DVD's and E-books, which we also give out for loan.
The Town of Stonewall is a great place to call home. The Town is located along Provincial Trunk Highway 67 with a population of 4725. Stonewall was founded in 1878, and was officially incorporated in 1908.
