Martin Bigg, owner and operator of Luv'n Care Boarding Home, is a well-respected member of the canine community in Whitehorse. Prior to Luv'n Care Boarding Home, Martin operated a dog obedience school in Yellowknife, NWT, for 8 years. Years ago, Martin was also actively involved in the dog sledding communities of both Yellowknife and Whitehorse. He trained his own dog sled teams and was a handler for mushers in the Yukon Quest 1000 mile sled dog race. Currently, Martin and his wife Libby enjoy the excitement and laughter of their three Border Collies and a witty-tempered Maltese. The love for dogs is the foundation of the Luv’n Care facility and is evident by the many repeat customers we have had since 1988.
