We offer large heated indoor runs, and covered runs on the outside with a variety of very secure exercise areas suited for large or small breeds. Your dog will keep active with activities and peaceful walks on our beautiful grounds.

We believe that exercise and attention is the key to helping your dog with their stay away from you and their home. Some dogs need more exercise than others...those labs can sometimes go forever, while a geriatric just needs a potty break and quick breath of fresh air. This is why we care for only a few at a time, so they can each receive the max from us. A stressed dog is not a happy dog and they can carry the anxiety throughout the entire kennel, resulting in excessive barking, damage and messes within the individual kennels. With proper exercise and attention we alleviate a lot of their stress through managing their care programs to fit each dog. And yes, some have been known to have their stay in our home when seen to do so. ;-)

Our aim is to create long term relationships with our clients so they can have peace of mind while they are away from their fur babies. The dogs in our care are treated as our own, like part of the family. WE LOVE THEM LIKE YOU DO!! We have a large and secure yard for them to play and they are welcome to sleep on the furniture and make themselves at home. The dogs are walked several times a day and have full access to the yard all day. Many of our clients are regulars and spend time with us a few times a month. K-Town Cats and Dogs offers an alternative to a kennel. If you are more comfortable having your pets stay in a home environment, we are the place for you. Our walking services are catered to your needs. All dogs are always kept on leash and there are never more than three dogs walking together at a time. The Okanagan has so many great places to walk and we like to vary our treks to keep it interesting.
