Emke Schaab has been a part of Walkerton and Hanover since the 1940s through Emke Plumbing and Heating in Hanover, Jagelewski Plumbing and Heating and Reed & Schaab in Walkerton. While it has experienced many changes over the years, it currently is still located in Hanover and Walkerton. Current owner, Doug Schaab originally purchased Jagelewski Plumbing and Heating with then partner Bernie Reed in 1990. In 2002, Schaab bought out Reed and 2004 saw the purchase of Emke Plumbing and Heating in Hanover. In 2005, the company name changed to Emke Schaab ClimateCare.
