Excellent care. Both eyes layered to open angles. No pain. Very friendly staff and Dr. Jelfimow is awesome. Last time I had this procedure done the Dr. was arrogant and rude. Dr. Jelfimow put me at ease right away and I am confident he will manage the hereditary glocoma in a manner that keeps my sight as long as possible! Dr. Jonat has been my urologist for years and I have found him very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. My prostate cancer is well under control now. I had previously gone to Kelowna for multi radiation treatments which caused more problems, which I would not have had to under Dr. Jonat's care.

Summit Medical Clinic has been a part of Kamloops since the early 1990s. Two young doctors moved from Logan Lake and set up a walk-in clinic at a strip mall on Summit Drive. The Clinic was open until 9:00pm and Walk-in clinics were on their way into Medical culture. Neither of the first two doctors practice at Summit Clinic today. In 1999 Summit Clinic moved down the hill to a new mall at 1380 Summit Drive where we have been for the past fifteen years. The Clinic is appreciated by the patients who are without a family doctor. In Kamloops, that is a large number. There are many patients whose Family Doctor is within the Clinic. Unfortunately none of the Doctors can take on new patients.
Summit Clinic accommodates as many patients as it can. Summit Clinic fills quickly as patients call or line up to get the walk-in spots available. It’s a new twist on meeting medical needs but the parking is free and the patients learn to deal with the system.
