A very well maintained and challenging 18 hole course. Holes are short but the fairways are narrow and the bush is close and thick. Friendly staff. Great Burger. No driving range at present.

Established in 1965, the South Port Golf Course is a scenic 9-hole layout that sprawls over 100 acres, minutes away from the beaches of Port Elgin and Southampton. Water hazards and neighbouring wetland areas are commonplace and come into play on five different occasions. The signature hole at South Port is the 361 yard, par 4, 6th hole. Off the tee, one must decide to carry the water hazard 200 yards away or lay up in front before approaching the small and gently sloping green. Out of bounds along the left side of the fairway and mature bush to the right convince most golfers that laying up makes the most sense.
