I have eaten in most restaurants downtown, and one day decided to try Abruzzo.
First impression was that is it a little too old style - decor was quite old fashioned. But over all nice and quiet. The food though makes up for short coming in the decor department.
I can't say that they were as good as home made italian food, but came pretty darn close. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

I want to go back, heck I didn't want to leave. I loved the atmosphere, the service was perfect, the food was to die for, I wish I had enough room left for dessert. The portions were more than reasonable...perfectly paired wines to food, this place didn't miss a beat, the perfect evening out!

Great experience; A+. The atmosphere was a bit cozy for me, and not too private, but that's my personal opinion. Our server was fantastic; he was polite, friendly, made GREAT food/drink suggestions, and our glasses were never empty. The food was incredible. We really enjoyed the variety of options and quality of the ingredients! - I think our favourite was the octopus. Hats off to the management, front of house staff, and kitchen! We WILL be back, and will recommend the restaurant to friends.

They will prepare the best steak you have ever had! The appetizers are also very extraordinarily tasty. Combine all these items with amazing and unique cocktails, and you will undoubtedly have a great dining experience! I usually eat there at least once a month, as it is always such a nice evening out!
