Pope Productions is a St. John's based company specializing in feature film, documentary and television formats. Founded in 1998 by principal Paul Pope, it has grown to be the most well known independent production company in NL.

Directed by Nik Sexton, HOW TO BE DEADLY was filmed in St. John's, NL, in the summer of 2013 and stars a cast of new Canadian comedy talent, including Leon Parsons, Gina Squires, Dan Bochart and Susan Kent and features Newfoundland and Labrador comedy legends Rick Mercer, Cathy Jones, Andy Jones, and Mary Walsh.
