I have always enjoyed the Trico Centre for Family Wellness. I find that the 40 day challenge in particular gets me into a great groove and I can either do my own thing or attend a number of offered classes on land or in the water. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend joining organization. It is the best in the city and affordable.

I hate going to chain-gyms because they never have the equipment that I want to use. Idon't use a lot of machines- I use power cages, free weights, and barbell racks. I do a more powertraining focused workout as opposed to circuit training or cardio only. Gagne fitness has enough equipment that someone actually looking to do some powertraining or body building.
But, it isn't just a body building/powertraining gym. There's a lot of machines, cardio equipment, a karate studio, open gym, and core training equipment. For a small botique gym, Gagne consistently offers a good experience.
Plus, I just found out that it's family owned!
