Colleen founded Twin Rinks Physiotherapy Clinic in 1994. Born and raised in Winnipeg, she graduated from the University of Manitoba, School of Rehabilitation Medicine in 1988. Colleen received a diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1998 and Acupuncture certification in 1993. She is certified in IMS Gunn Intramuscular Neural Stimulation and is a member of iSTOP (Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain). IMS is a dry needling technique for patients with chronic pain and long standing musculoskeletal problems. Colleen has taken special interest in the concept of core stability and has developed an exercise program to help people improve their spinal stabilization. She has been involved in the treatment of many athletes involved in running, gymnastics, dance and contact sports. Colleen stays fit by running, skiing and gardening.
Michelle Shepherd is registered with the College of Dietitians of BC. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Health at the University of British Columbia, followed by an accredited internship with Vancouver Coastal Health. Michelle works both as a clinical and private practice dietitian.
Claudia Lemay is a Registered Dietitian in South Surrey, BC. She has experience in many fields and specializes in promoting health through changing eating habits for long-term results. She also specializes in the nutritional management of IBS (FODMAPs diet), allergies, celiac disease, heart disease type 2 diabetes as well as picky eating/problem feedings related to sensory processing disorders and/or autism. (She is SOS trained).
