Sunshine Centres for Seniors is a non-profit organization providing social, recreational and health promotion day programs for seniors in the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to reduce social isolation, improve the health and well-being of older adults and to empower them to lead meaningful and connected lives in which they are engaged and participating in the community. Through our many centres including our Camp Sunshine program on Ward’s Island, we are committed to providing inclusive, interactive, and accessible programs that make a difference in the lives of seniors, promoting independence, a sense of belonging to a supportive community, and fostering a sense of purpose in life.
East End Children's Centre is a group of free drop-in programs where parents, grandparents, guardians and caregivers can spend time with infant, toddler and preschool children.Our toy filled centres offer a free snack, circle time and a daily craft. No registration is required to participate. All East End Children's Centre programs are nut free and baby feeding friendly.Our Kimbourne and Terry Fox sites are wheelchair accessible. We welcome all children aged 0 – 6 and their families, complete with all the strengths, needs, family types, racial & cultural identities and languages they bring to our programs.East End Children Centre is a not for profit organization and a registered Canadian charity
