The VCC team started the tournament with a convincing 110 win over the Parker rink from Lansing Michigan, but stumbled with last shot losses in the next two games against the Wiesen rink from San Francisco, California (68) and the Wheeler rink from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania (57), before posting convincing wins over the Marshall rink from Greenville, South Carolina (103), the Cooke rink from Richmond, Virginia (105) and closing out the tournament with a decisive victory over the Havercraft rink from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (71) in six ends.
