We dropped our pups off while we had a much needed vacation. I’m not a fan of travel, so my dogs have never been kennelled. I was quite nervous to leave them at first, as I wasn’t sure how the dogs would do, but the staff posted pictures that we looked for every day which really helped. The kennels were large and clean, which were great as I have giant breeds.
When I picked my dogs up, they were happy, freshly washed, and looked really good. Thank you so much!

We were so impressed with Better Than Home ...it's just about Better Than Home! We love that our two large breed ladies have so much space for excercise and socializing. Gord the owner clearly loves dogs (he has 5 of his own!) and knows how to handle them as alpha. The facilities are new and very clean - the owner's vision is apparent at this perfect locale. My dogs are allowed on my couch and I REALLY loved to see the TV room at Better Than Home where they can cuddle on the couch with Gord or stretch out at his feet and chew a bone. One of the best businesses in the Edmonton area. Excellent staff and the owner is more the accommodating. The kennel itself is located in a very safe, offset tree'd in area on the outskirts of Edmonton. My dog comes home to me exercised, properly fed and smiling. Well worth the drive even if you and your pet are not close by.

Richmanor is a boarding kennel for dogs. We have been here for 35 years, breeding, showing, training, boarding and most of all, caring for dogs. We are 15 minutes from Sherwood Park, less than half an hour from the International Airport, all on paved roads.
We introduce the foundation work and review enviroment management (home routines) that are recommended in order to get the best results from your investment of time & training- based on your dog's breed, age, sex and behaviours.
Trust It's a Dog's Life for more wag and less bark. Located on 77 Ave in Edmonton, we offer daycare, boarding, grooming, obedience and other services for our canine friends. We provide special care and attention for your pets while you are away. We allow them to relax and be a part of our family as they adjust. They receive more private one on one time for no additional cost. We do everything possible to make their stay with us a very enjoyable one. We can also send pictures to you of your pets while you are away via email and allow families to stay in contact with us throughout their time away should they want to. All pets staying with us must have when checking in, their current veterinary record to ensure all shots are up to date and we need to record your vet's information on your pets file in case of an emergency. All dogs must be vaccinated for kennel cough. By appointment only we welcome first time customers to visit our kennel Monday through Friday.
