My husband and children decided to head up to Algonquin over the long weekend and passed a beavertails truck on our way into the park. We decided to stop and have a snack and boy was it worth it! Even though it was busy, due to the long weekend traffic, the service was fast, the employees were having a good time and the tails were delicious! If your family ever takes a trip to Algonquin it won’t be complete without a visit to the beavertails truck. 4 thumbs up...as my kids would say!

Set up similar to Cold Stone Creamery, everyone can create their very own cupcake! Choose your base, pick a filling, ice the cake, and top it off; or choose from many of the pre-fixed flavours! Alex will put it together fresh from scratch right as you ask for it. Custom orders are still available and encouraged!
The Red Door Bakery was started as a home business, then moved in 2008 to their current location in the community of Waubamik, which is located on Hwy 124 10km outside of Parry Sound (approximately a 10-minute ride).
The Red Door Bakery is more than just a bakery serving fresh baked goods daily. We also have lunch specials, a small convenience store and gas for your vehicle.
Our owner and main baker, Lori, has completed several baking technique courses, including one in patisserie, as well as a certification in cake decorating.
We introduce new products regularly, as well as feature a soup of the day and a daily lunch special, whether it's a new flavour or a familiar favourite.
