Service was 10 plus. We were in at 6:55 and out by 7:25. Closing time was 7:00 didn't realize until we sat down. Waitress was very nice, food was excellent. Fish had a slight coating that didn't mask the flavor of the fish.
And how nice to get home cut fries. Coleslaw was perfect.
Next time we are in town, we will return. And thanks again for seating us at closing time, we appreciated it very much.

Went to Thyme on 21 on a Wednesday night in aug 2010. We didn't have a res but the owner graciously accommodated our party of five.
Food and service were world class.
Would definitely go there again, it was a memorable evening. A gem in Southwest Ontario.

Just had the fish and chips and the hummus avocado wraps. Amazingly flavourful and fresh tasting. Lots of healthy options and some unhealthy favorites too! Great service. Will be back.

The Best Western Governor's Inn says classy from the moment you pull in the driveway and the lobby and professional staff continues this feeling. From a beautiful lobby to a restaurant/lounge that has the rich, comfortable feel of fine leather (although for the record there was no leather).Our server was attentive, polite and quite pleasant and although it was obvious that she was pushing the buffet there was no problems when I ordered off of the menu. This place gets a perfect 10 when it comes to atmosphere.
I ordered the Governor's Chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and the garden mix. The chicken schnitzel was prepared quite to my liking, cooked to perfection, moist on the inside and the breading was wonderfully crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes were quite good, fluffy and smooth, and clearly not instant (a pet-peeve of mine is instant potatoes). The garden mix consisted of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green and red pepper slices and was steamed to perfection. I rate this meal a 9 out of 10, nearly flawless.
Overall this restaurant gets 9.5 out of 10 and will say that I will defiantly be eating there again.
