Nice friendly people running it and they do all the service things too, like tune ups. I also found out they sharpen ice skates in the off season. North 48 Bicycles was started out of passion for cycling combined with the fact that we are located in one of the most amazing areas for cycling outside Tuscany – numerous national teams and elite level athletes don’t call it home for nothing! The company was started by David Ley, who after 25 years as a part-time cyclist and full time consulting hydrogeologist, decided to focus full-time on cycling, and share the amazing riding with others.
Recyclistas structure is inspired by the wheel. Each member is their own spokes-person, who taps into the facilities of a communal hub. Currently they recycle reconditioned bikes, provide community access to bicycle repair and maintenance workshops, tool and shop rental, and on site-expert assistance for those who wish to repair their own bikes. The going rates! You do all the work: $10/hour You do the work and we help: $15/hour If you choose to drop off your bike for us to repair for you, our prices vary depending on the work that needs to be done.. We can deliver up to 4 bikes at a time with our bike-towed trailer to your accommodations within Sidney or immediate surroundings. Alternatively, we can meet you in downtown Sidney or at our home-based shop if you call ahead for our address.
