An lovely unexpected find between the tracks and the water. Offers fresh farm to table selections and a friendly attentive staff in a cute nicely done setting. Had the lamb duo and was impressed by the presentation and flavour. The dessert was a “take me home and love me forever” moment. this is a beautiful well-kept pub and the service is fun and fabulous! the food is delicious and i generally stick to the burgers and fries. (goes down easy with a cold one and a Canucks game)

The food is excellent. We have not had a bad experience. Saying that I feel the restaurant is dirty. You look at the drapes and there is like an inch of dust. So now we do not eat there, but bring it home. It’s too bad they don’t do something about it. I was not the only one that noticed.

Originally the pub was a Bank of Montreal. In fact, the wall behind the bar is where the old vault used to be. As you look out the front windows you see the railroad tracks and beyond that the Haney Wharf and the mighty Fraser River. When Don and Bernice Gehring purchased the building in the 70's they had the intent to create a neighbourhood pub and chose the name because the tracks he rode on and stole from run east-west right across the street.
