The company, which was a cooperative, was founded in 1997 by 8 former employees of a closed bakery in the area. The 8 entrepreneurs had specific professional assets that were very useful for the development of a new bakery business. From there was born Boulangerie du Royaume.
Then, in 2018, the last founders still employed by the bakery decided it was time to hand over to new owners. In the spirit of ensuring long-term sustainability, they chose to sell the bakery to Nutrinor Coopérative and Gilles Couture, a partner in business for several years. The Bakery of the Kingdom therefore continues to manufacture and deliver in the region good bread from the know-how of its builders.
