Nguyen has led private poetry writing workshops. These eight- to twelve-week sessions are held three times a year and include in-person as well as virtual participants. Under Nguyen's guidance, workshop participants engage a primary text by a single poet and write out of resonances and in response to prompts and other considerations drawn from and in dialogue with it. Poets Niedecker, Kyger, Ted Berrigan, Spicer, Whalen, Susan Howe, Creeley, Dickinson, Stein, and Charles Olson are among those that Nguyen has taught.

Private aviators, boaters and the general public alike will soon be able to enjoy a new public space on the waterfront. The Toronto Port Authority has reached an agreement in principle with a group of private investors to repair, restore and re-open the historic Terminal A building at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA). The terminal will be moved slightly east from its current spot on existing airport property towards Hanlan's Point, be restored and renovated, and then opened as a public restaurant and event space. The restored terminal will also offer amenities and services to the general aviation community at BBTCA.
