Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) is recognized as Canada's leader in wetland conservation and restoration. By identifying at-risk wetlands, DUC proactively safeguards these critical areas before they are lost. DUC's conservation program protects large blocks of wetlands and their natural uplands through agreements, conversation easements, land donations and land purchases. DUCs resporation program rehabilitates complexes of small wetland. We partner with landowners, industry, government and non-profit organizations and to conserve wetlands that are critical to waterfowl, wildlife and the environment. We deliver on-the-ground habitat conservation projects, research, education programs and public policy work to stop wetland loss. Ongoing collaboration brings many natural areas in Alberta back to life.
