My Spirit name is Zaagiidgeaway Gabo (Standing near the top of a hill). I am 68 year old Ojibway Elder, artist , Musician & Traditional Healer from Temagami First Nation Bear Island On, P0H1C0 I lived my early childhood in the traditional native way on our family trap-line on Lake Temagami, hunting, fishing and Trapping. During the winter months I learned about our lifestyle and spiritual ways through the Elders and Medicine People, Storytelling and spiritual teachings were given to me by my Grandfathers, Grandmothers and parents.

Christie Best Pearson Anderson (NOAA) is a Canadian fine artist with a rural Ontario background. Her mediums of choice are watercolour, graphite and coloured pencil as well as oil pastel. Her subject matter is varied – from landscapes, to portraits and figurative, from animals, both domestic and wild, to still life. Christie has had her work exhibited throughout Northeastern Ontario in many solo and group exhibitions and purchased by collectors within Canada, United States and abroad. Darlene Watson imagines and creates original, modern fine art paintings in acrylic or oils. A contemporary artist that is driven to paint with her emotion and obvious passion towards art and her surroundings sometimes with unconventional techniques, swirls, dripping paints, inks, dots, marker and oil pastel markings and lines. With her background in Design and her love of that along with painting, she has completed several commission pieces to date. An abstract artist living and working from her home studio warehouse space in Southampton, Canada, creating non-objective abstracts on paper or canvas along with imaginary abstract florals. Commissions are always considered in any possible size imagined on paper or canvas. As an international artist, Darlene has collectors in Europe, USA and Canada.

Art has been a part of my life since early childhood. My parents recognized my art abilities and sent me for art instruction at the age of ten. It was during these classes that were the base for my thirst to create art. My work is a reflection of my love of nature, animals and color.
