Since it opened in June 2007, it has been a hub of the Haliburton County's Art Community.ake advantage of this opportunity for your artwork to be retailed in a unique atmosphere and a prime tourist location at a reasonable rate.The Art Hive provides a retail outlet for the members of the Maple Lake Artisans Collective. As part of the responsibilities of collective membership, artists are required to staff the store and participate in running the business.For your application to be eligible you must have local residency in Haliburton County, go through a jurying process and sign a one year contract.

Oxtongue Craft Cabin & Gallery is a beloved destination that provides a unique and relaxed Muskoka shopping experience. Our quaint log cabin gallery offers an exquisite selection of fine Canadian craft and original art made by over 110 Canadian artists and artisans.
The gallery is open weekends from Victoria Day Weekend to Canada Day and then daily through Labour Day. We look forward to welcoming you in 2024.
We are located just west of Algonquin Park in Dwight, Lake of Bays, Muskoka. We're close to Dorset Tower and many natural wonders such as Dwight Beach, Oxtongue Rapids and Ragged Falls.

Cultural CentreArts, Heritage, & NatureThe Minden Hills Cultural Centre is a 4 acre area in downtown Minden that houses the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, the Minden Hills Museum, Nature's Place and the Minden Hills Branch of the Haliburton County Public Library . The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public art gallery offering visual art exhibitions year-round. The gallery's collection consists primarily of artwork by Andre Lapine. Minden Hills Museum & Pioneer Village reflects pioneer life in the mid to late 19th Century. It consists of seven structures, five of which are original local heritage buildings that have been relocated to the museum grounds. Feature exhibits are located in the Sterling Bank Building- Minden's first bank. Nature's Place holds the estate of Ron Douglas Lawrence, a well-recognized Canadian naturalist and wildlife author. Lawrence's life and books are displayed through changing exhibitions. The Centre grounds also offer a labyrinth, gift shops, walking trails and tours.The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is owned and operated by the Township of Minden Hills.
