Whole Foods Market is an international brand that’s committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and providing the finest natural and organic foods to urban shoppers. It’s good to know that your grocery dollar is going to a company with an eco-friendly philosophy. The huge Annex location has a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee beans and upscale organic products in every category.
Few can argue that this chain provides some of the best products anywhere, from an amazing selection of bulk items like nuts, dried fruit, rice and flour to fresh and frozen seafood brought in daily. Their network chain and focus on organic fare means that many specialty goods are priced lower than in other stores that don’t share the same commitment. They also have an excellent range of deli items, from nitrate-free cured meats to olives and made-to-order sandwiches.
Whole Foods has just about everything in natural foods. With its expansive location in Hazelton Lanes, and a new north end store that just opened at Yonge & Sheppard, Whole Foods really does have it all: beautiful produce, an in-house bakery and prepared foods, and aisles of packaged goods, including its own, more affordable brand 365 Everyday Value.
