We dined at Quinn's Inn last night for the so called prime rib buffet. Yes it is roast beef but not prime rib. I gave 2 stars because the meat was eatable. There was nothing on the buffet that could not be purchased at Costco readymade. It definitely did not live up to the $35 per plate expectations. The cleanliness had a lot to be desired. Old food on the floor and cobwebs. I will say the service was very good and we tipped the waitress for her service not because we enjoyed the meal.
I just returned home from an experience at Mordecai's Pub that I thought you should be aware of. Myself and a friend sat down to order a beverage and food. While the bartender was taking our order she was terribly rude. We order the pulled pork poutine and an Alexander Keith’s beer. After waiting for an hour she returns with our food, a poutine with a sandwich. After bringing it to her attention that we received the wrong order she replies with “Well maybe next time you should be a little clearer with your order." This is not a way any customer should be treated. Shocked with her response I replied with "Excuse me?" She then grabs the food from the table and returns to slap the bill on the table and says "Good night boys I'm not dealing with you." I have been to Quinn’s in many of times for family functions and the odd pint a pub.Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. If I ever return, and see that she is working I will definitely be heading out the door
The wings are great but the service is terrible! The older woman who served us on three occasions was appallingly rude. She never came to our table to see if we needed anything, she is very sarcastic, impolite, and made it seem like va terrible chore any time we asked for more ketchup,etc. It's a shame because the wings are great. Get rid of that horror show of a waitress and we'll come back!
Our 40th anniversary dinner was amazing. Great food, warm and friendly service, cozy and comfortable ambience, loved the charm of the building--would definitely eat here again. Thanks for a great experience.
