Was in Ajax, tried the oxtail it tasted burnt, could not finish it , felt sick afterwards. Rude, unfriendly staff. A Caucasian lady ordered the same, they gave her a choice of 3 sides and asked me nothing just put a soup like substance over the rice . Also bought curry and roti both were horrible . Would not Recommend.to anyone.ever. The only good thing was a pack of fudge I bought which was ordered not made there . Tasted nothing like real Trinidadian food .
I ordered food from the ajax location i asked for chicken curry and rice and asked for white rice they ended up putting peas and rice. I said i ordered white rice they refused to fix it saying its already made what do you want me to do with it through it away. Horrible service my family nor i will no longer eat there again.
I buy food there every week. The people are always friendly. When I walk in, they always greet me with a big smile. When I go there it feels like home, "just like mom's cooking"! The food is always consistant and tasty. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family members.
Worst customer service I ever had. Food was nothing special, I don't write reviews but the experienced I had there was just so bad I had to let everyone know. You can tell they just money hungry no smiles no politeness nothing, and to make them look worse they keeping saying there the best and bad mouth all the other roti shops. I'm a regular to I love roti / the roti house/ and rotilicious. Taste of TNT will NEVER compare to the other roti shops in durham,and will never receive another penny from me again!
I eat at T&T about once a week. The food quality is above average, and the portions are decent. They have a daily lunch special consisting of curry chicken with rice and peas...YUM. And if you like a spicy jerk chicken, this is the place. Their Doubles are also deliciois. The eating area is nothing special, but who cares. Overall, one of the better west indian restaurants in durham
