GOOD STUFF Consignment Inc. is a new Edmonton store that features higher-end women's fashions. Not everything is expensive! On the contrary, clients will be delighted with our very reasonable prices. However, emphasis is placed on quality classics and contemporary fashion with an edge.
The snobbery of one of the ladies working here was truly disgusting. I brought in several items items in excellent condition (Coach bag, Fossil bag, Michael Kors wristlet, Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, numerous items from Aritzia, etc.) She was condescending from the moment I walked in stating that "they didn't need my items". Very put together woman, but her tacky personality does her no favours. This store is a glorified Winners or Saks Off Fifth.
The store itself has darkened windows, with little lighting. You can not inspect a garment for stains or imperfections. The prices are above average, considering that it is second hand.
The women at the desk was rude, and incommunicative.
Not a place I would return to, nor recommend.
I have been consigning for a few years and recently discovered Good Stuff. They have a ton of awesome higher end clothes and accessories, so the sifting through has already been done for you. The owner Mavis and I exchanged cards and about 3 weeks after my initial visit she called to let me know a pair of jeans, in my size, that she thought I would like had been brought in. All around good customer service. I'll be back for sure.
When I called to see how their business worked, Mavis ( I assume is the owner) asked what kinds of clothes I have to sell. I told her and she did not seem interested, she asked what stores I shop at and I told her then she just said no and hung up on me. How rude can you be. I was in mid sentence and she hung up. How disgusting. You did not even see my clothes I have good 100% silk dresses and stuff I have not even wore. I would not shop at this store.
