Acadian Seaplants Limited (ASL) was recognized today with the provincés top workplace safety honour the Mainstay Safety Award of Excellence, presented by Nova Scotia Labour and Advanced Education Minister, Marilyn More and Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia Chief Executive Officer, Stuart MacLean. ''Creating a safe work environment doesn't happen on its own,'' said JeanPaul Deveau. ''Inspiring a safety culture within Acadian Seaplants has been a collaborative effort that has been embraced by every employee.
