We go to the Dixon Road location and absolutely love it there. Mostly because we are served by Tanya and sometimes Christina. They are the best Waitresses there. Tanya always remembers what we order, even our drinks, every time we go there and Tanya is the reason we keep going back to that location. All the service is great and Angie at the bar is great as well. This place is new and deserves a try.... The food was great! I loved their cheese wontons! Portions are just right....
Their wait staff are still very green but they should improve as they grow. My tip for the wait staff, be more confident, stop apologizing for every little mistake and just be honest to your customers...we'll appreciate it.
Decor could use a little toning down on the walls and more ambience on the tables.... but overall, it was a nice experience. Will definitely be going back to this place!!!!

I had lunch to go today, my first time here. Very, very clean. Cute little tables if you want to dine in. Efficient staff. I had the jerk chicken lunch special. About 8 dollars with the tax, great value. Excellent rice and peas, a chicken thigh with a very good jerk, slaw. Delicious, I will be back to try other daily specials, the curry and the stew

My husband and I discovered Dai Ichi several years ago almost by accident on New Year's Eve when the Mandarin was overcrowded and behind on their reservations. I have always been grateful to Mandarin for their ineptitude.
Dai Ichi is a small, out of the way place, tucked into a nondescript strip mall near a Longo's and Shopper's Drug Mart, but it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. Good people and outstanding food. It has become a staple with our family, and we even took a large party there for dinner one Christmas!
