Saman Bakery (or Saaman Bakery as our local Persian community refers to us) was founded on the North Shore in Vancouver, BC in 2004. Since our modest beginnings our enchanting breads have stayed true to the traditional preparation and baking methods of authentic Persia.
We are proud to offer you the best healthy and tasty pastries, free of preservatives, hydrogenated oils, bleached flour and trans fats. We produce the best products for you to enjoy, while minimizing unnecessary fats and sugar. Using the highest quality wheat flour and fine ingredients in our cakes, give us an edge that is tough to beat. Emma Carnero has always loved to bake. She is well known in the community for her delicious pies, irresistible cookies, and tasty treats. Whenever there is a celebration, Emma's baked goods are always an anticipated treat. In 2001, Emma's family convinced her to share her magical baking talent with the community-at-large.
I only bake by order and I specialize in "rustic" cakes for any occasion, individually decorated and personalized cookies and a variety of cupcakes and other sweet treats.
I also offer gluten free and vegan options.
Established in 2012. I started baking after discovering that my son had a life threatening peanut allergy. Being constantly worried about what store bought treats and cakes might had encouraged me to learn how to make our own.I have made every birthday cake for my son but it wasn't until I made his 5th birthday cake and had so much fun planning and doing it that I decided baking was what I wanted to do. I love designing and creating every cake. Everything is made with only the highest quality ingredients, from scratch, peanut free and mostly organic. Jenny's cakes and cupcakes are to die for. Each cake is beautifully decorated, and each cupcake is as important and special as the next. In a small town of Cesenatico, Italy, Francesco Pero started baking at the young age of 13 years old, and learned from only the best. In 1964 Francesco moved to Montreal, Canada, where he continued his baking career at Boulangerie Capri. In 1966 Francesco, and his dad Salvatore started their own bakery called 'Fortuna Bakery', where they baked for 8 years. In 1973 they sold 'Fortuna bakery' in Montreal and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. Because of their success in Montreal, Francesco & Salvatore Pero and Mario Toteda decided to open a bakery in Burnaby and also call it 'Fortuna Bakery'.
For over 40 years Bon Bon Bakery has been providing the Lower Mainland with quality products for any occasion. Specialty cakes, pastries, cookies and authentic Italian bread are just to name a few.
