I work in the oilfield and have put up with dirty and sketchy lodging but boy this place takes the cake, our room had disgusting stains all over the matress and pull out couch, rips in the mattress, lights were not working. Booked this place through booking.com and when we went to check in the guy took over an hour trying to figure it all out. Then we get up to our room and look out the window only to witness a bike theft. Worst experience ever and the front desk guy was HORRIBLE to deal with.
Our stay at this Thriftlodge / Candiana Inn on 1400 Notre Dame Ave was great the service from the front desk from BJ and Perry was awesome they are so helpful and pleasant And the waitress in the coffee shop Sinakit ( Sin ) you are a people person ( great service ) the breakfast omelet's are delicious The pool it's self was unbelievable the kid's had a great time very clean and not a strong smell of chlorine The hot tubs where also a lot of fun The sitting area around the pool area was also comfortable The rooms were big and clean with comfortable beds The only complaint was the noise after 2am Need a no noise after a certain time to keep the noise level down Other then this we had a great stay thanks BJ , Perry and Sin keep up the great service see you soon.
