After reading the reviews online about this restaurant I was apprehensive about going to a staff Xmas get-together involving 16 people. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about. The servers had excellent manners and the food was good (for the price) and was served in a timely manner. I didn't hear any complaints from anyone at our table. We were lucky to have a restaurant accomodate such a large group. The owner made a point of acknowledging the person who had made our reservation. Nice people, good food. I would go back.

We live out of the area and normally don't eat at ESM's as we have been bitterly disappointed in the past. Not so at this location! Our experience here put this restaurant back on our radar!
Great service, friendly staff (ask for Holly, she's lovely) and the kids were well looked after. Not to mention the ice-cold beer and fresh and tasty food.
If you have given up on East Side Mario's don't pass this one up. These guys should show the rest of the chain how it's done! EXCELLENT!

Went there with 2 friends, the host at the front door was great, smile held the door, sat us withen 4 min there was a small wait but it was dinner time. Some big over weight lady was kinda rude to the server tho, people that are in a bad mood should stay home, stop trying to dump on others. Go on a diet. Eastsides you guys rock!! you care and it shows.

This is our family’s favourite restaurant for Italian food! My favourite is the panzerotti ! Huge and full of meat and cheese. I also highly suggest the chicken Parmesan. Great door to door service too!

Ok here's the deal..if you want the best pizza in the valley, not to say anything about the flawless donairs this is the place. It starts with the warming customer service you just don't experience anymore. If you get a chance to talk to Mo or his sons and his staff you will understand why I'm rambling. Kudos mo. My cousin from Holland (owner of a travel agency) wanted a special menu with a capable Chef and a special place to celebrate his 50th Birthday on holiday in Canada. He found it in Slackoni's. The setting on the water was intimate and relaxed with music supplied by a classical guitarist. This was a multi-course meal and each was delivered with great presentation style and flavour. The group was delighted with anti-pasto dishes of vitello tomatol, smoked salmon, mini portabello mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and a mouth watering caprese salad. Moving inside to a cozy adjoining party room we were treated to a tasty seafood fettuccini pescatore. The main event was elk tenderloin in a maple bbq glaze. And for those who like desert, the ultimate..the zucotto "italian bomb cake" Amazing!
As per the menu, the wine was also chosen to compliment each course. It was a great event and everyone was thrilled. Our european guests, so used to eating in Paris were very impressed! Hats off to Slackoni's staff in delivering the service in keeping with the excellent food. Congratulations to all!
