Tree Service near Young SK (41 Result(s))

We are a seedling nursery that distributes tree seedlings to the Western region, ( BC, AB and SK) for shelterbelt, farms, acreages, conservation and riparian work, and county programs to name a few. We do not require a land title, and happily sell to the public. We sell bare root and plug material. Trees are shipped each May through Canada Post. We begin taking orders for the spring, the fall prior. All trees are on a first come, first reserved basis. The average height of our seedlings are 12-18 inches, and are going on their second growing year. Seedlings are sold in bundles of 10 for $28.00.

I was pleasantly surprised to find chocolates in my mail box this Xmas from this very helpful service. Jesse and his team took care of a fallen tree in my driveway this past fall efficiently and effectively. I will be hiring them again in the spring to tidy up my back yard. Read more
Since pioneering fall shelterbelt planting in 2000, we continue to see the benefits of fall planting, especially for species like poplar. This method helps trees access early spring moisture, often resulting in stronger growth. Our mid-October 2022 plantings have grown to heights of 18–48 inches by August 2023, outpacing spring-planted seedlings. We recommend fall planting from October 1 to early November for optimal results. We’ve expanded our sapling nursery from 10,000 to 20,000 saplings, including varieties like Okanese and Tristis Poplar, Golden, Silverleaf, and Laurel Leaf Willow, plus potted Scot's Pine and White Spruce. Our larger saplings, averaging 4-5 feet in height, are perfect for fall planting in October or late spring in April/May. Due to high demand, we’re rapidly expanding our sapling offerings!
