Sandy Land Stables was established in 1980 by Barry Foote. The farm is located 7 miles from Brandon MB, on Curries Landing Road. The emphasis of this business is the breeding of high quality American Quarter Horses using a selection of well bred stallions to compliment the show worthy mares owned by the farm. Sandy Land's mare band has grown over the years to include 6 mares sired by Dynamic Deluxe, Hot Pretense, Invitation Only and Zippos Mr Goodbar. Progeny from this breeding program are now showing on the World and International circuit in both Western and English events. Horses are often available for sale. Our facilities include a year round 60' x 160' indoor arena as well as a 150' x 300' outdoor arena. As well as riding opportunities on the property, there is plenty of equine friendly space to roam in the local community. The barn area houses up to 14 horses with three 14' x 14' foaling stalls as well as outdoor runs and pastures for boarding of mares and geldings. A heated tack room is provided for storing of riding equipment and tack.
