The Brockville Country Club was founded in 1914, the first President being John A. MacKenzie. The club house was located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River - its nine hole golf course had two holes on the south side of the King's Highway and seven holes on the north side. The club house was destroyed by fire in late November 1937, rebuilt for the following season, and occupied thereafter until October 1976.
Located in one of Canada's most picturesque settings, Upper Canada Golf Course was designed by noted golf course architect Robbie Robinson in the early 1960s.This 6,922 yard, 18 hole public course challenges both beginners and skilled golfers alike. It winds through evergreen and deciduous trees, sometimes alongside waterways, and offers glimpses of natural beauty and wildlife like no other course. An improved drainage system means the course is open earlier and greens and fairways are in excellent condition. On site driving range and putting green is available for practice or clinics. The course's clubhouse features a restaurant, bar, locker rooms, showers and a Pro Shop.
